Google Analytics 4 Telemetry

Every banner click automatically dispatches a GA4 custom event with full taxonomy parameters:

  • event: banner_click
  • banner_id: Unique slot key (e.g. space-2-academy)
  • banner_space: Physical slot (space-1 through space-6)
  • banner_topic: Campaign topic (academy, rpki, etc.)
  • banner_name: Human-readable banner label
  • link_url: Destination landing portal

How to view in GA4: Navigate to Explore → Free-form exploration, set dimension to Event name = banner_click, and break down by banner_id or banner_space.
